And here I thought I had a black thumb! A year later, my small Christmas cactus decided to bloom again, proving I can keep a cactus alive even if I kill every other live plant we have in our house.
This is dedicated to my little brother's fiance, Heidi, who loves these plants. Hope you are proud, Heidi!

That is lovely! Makes me wish my thumb were greener. :)
I have three of this kind of cactus, and it is not as easy as it seems to get them to bloom! Even though they are cacti, they don't like direct sunlight, or having to go without water... weird, huh? What I mean is that this IS a big accomplishment! Go Kristi!
